I’m bringing it back old school by sharing some random facts about me. I actually published this lovely Q & A type of post very early on in my blogging journey and since I have many new readers since then, I thought it would be fun to share again – this time, I have some new questions and the addition of some #hashtags to give it a finished touch. So, here goes getting to know me a little better…

2. What has been your favorite age so far? 24
3. Where did you meet your husband? In a bar

5. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people? Karaoke after a few beers
6. What’s the first thing you notice about your preferred sex? Great teeth
7. What really turns you off? Dishonesty

9. What is your biggest mistake? Not starting this blog sooner! #fact
10. As a child, what did you want to grow up to be? I thought I wanted to be a flight attendant…that was until I “grew up” and my fear of flying got in the way. #nojoke
11. Say something totally random about yourself. I can eat rainbow sprinkles directly out of the container. #seriously
12. Do you still watch kiddie movies or TV shows? Kiddie tv shows #notbychoice
13. Did you have braces? No #thankgod
14. Favorite Social Network? Hands down, Twitter. #ofcourse
15. What is the most romantic thing someone of the preferred sex has done for you? My husband proposed to me on the ice-skating rink in Rockefeller Center.
16. When do you know when it’s love? When you can’t imagine yourself living without that person in your life.
17. Do you speak any other languages? I studied French in High School, Spanish and Italian in college – and I can’t speak any of them. #truestory
18. Have you ever been to a tanning salon? Fake and bake? Of course, I’m from New Jersey 😉
19. What magazines do you read? I used to love InStyle, but now I don’t even have time for that anymore. #socialmedia
20. What is playing on your iPod right now? Van Morrison
21. Have you ever ridden in a limo? Yes, the most fun limo rides I remember were for 3 different Bachelorette Parties in NYC. #goodtimes
22. Has anyone you were really close to passed away? Yes. All of my grandparents are deceased.
23. Do you watch MTV? I never miss an episode of Jersey Shore. #fistpump
24. What’s something that really annoys you? When my husband thinks I spend way too much time on the computer. And I know he’ll eventually read this, and then our conversation following will be even more annoying. #lame
25. Which television show you were sad to say goodbye to? Friday Night Lights #texasforever
26. Can you dance? Actually, yes. I even minored in it in college.
27. What’s your favorite place in the world? The ocean
28. Have you ever been rushed by an ambulance into the emergency room? Ambulance no but ER, yes.
29. If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would it be? Marilyn Monroe
30. If you could change one thing in the world for your child, what would it be? I would remove the life-threatening nut allergy that my son lives with everyday.

#10-I wanted to be a flight attendant too. Still secretly want to do that, but my husband’s utter terror everytime I get on a plane would make that career feel a little mean. But it does mean that I will watch a lot of PanAm and dream of the glory days of flight attending.
I totally DVR’d that show, was it good?? As a little girl, I was drawn into the idea of traveling to so many new places and meeting new people every day…yeah, the whole actual flying thing was a deal breaker. 😉
I’m hoping!! I actually missed it because our cable went down (lightening struck!), so I am planning to watch it on Hulu (probably tomorrow night)
I was drawn to the travel too. But I also love to fly. I would happily do that every day.

I’m a newbie, what’s your best advice for me as a mommy blogger?
SUCH a good question Jamie!! My best piece of advice is to always stay true to who you are! Always blog for you and make good choices surrounding your blog that work for YOU. At the end of the day, if you stay true to yourself, you will never regret any decisions made surrounding your blog!!
Butting in, but such amazing advice! I used to blog for a very popular Canadian mommy site & recently stopped because I was no longer writing for me or even about things that interested me. I felt like my writing was empty. Now that I’m back on my personal blog, I feel like I could post a gazillion times a day- I’m so much happier. & even though my comments are way less, my numbers are just as high!!!!! Blog for u &they will come!!

I love red wine all year round – I am a total Pinot Noir girl. I also enjoy white wine in the summer and Riesling is my fave!

I think there are so many awesome parts of this state because you have the mountains, the shore and some really nice downtowns in between…if I had to pick just one, I would have to go with of course, the shore – such as LBI or Lavallette. I grew up at the beach, so I couldn’t think of anywhere else I would rather be!!

Here is my question:
Do you ever have days where you just want to unplug, shut off the computer, and not check your Iphone, Twitter, FB, email, etc? (I do).
Without a douby Mary, and I’ve created a schedule where I work crazy hours during the week, especially many early mornings anb late nights but I do that so I am able to unplug on the weekends. I don’t tweet, check email, etc – I am TOTALLY unplugged. So, when Monday morning rolls around, I am refreshed and ready to start another work week. Not sure if this is something you could try to do, but I highly recommend taking SOME time during the week to totally unplug.
Loved this, and I loved Friday Night Lights too.
My husband also complains about my computer time, while he is using his iPod/Smartphone :sigh:

Go-to-outfit, I know this sounds so cliche, but I have to go with a really good LBD: Little Black Dress that hangs in the closet and can be worn with ANY shoes/accessories and you always look put together. Every girl needs a good LBD!

Thanks girl! I LOVE going to the hair salon, getting a manicure or out shopping for ME (not the kids). Those things are all for me and make me feel good…and I need to do it more often!!

As for the restaurant, would you believe no? I waited tables for years all through college, I guess part of me always felt bad for them since I knew what it was like!!
Oh, I was sad to say good bye to Friday Night Lights too. Also, how can we re-educate our husbands that being on the computer is not playing? You just framed my current biggest pet peeve.
As a teen, I loved filling out surveys like these, but I haven’t done one in years. I thought about copying you and doing this one for my blog, but then I realized the most romantic thing someone has done for me was NOT done by my husband, but by the last man I dated BEFORE my husband (whom I did not like that much). I don’t know whether it matters and I should be sad…or not. My husband is just not a super romantic guy. Such is life.

These questionnaires are so much fun! I’m going to join in on the fun on do it on my blog. A couple of questions for you: First, do you have a most embarrassing moment? And, secondly, how do I change my blog comments section so that I can reply back to each comment directly after the comment as you have on your site? I’ve been searching for some html or whatever to help me with this and am not having much luck. Blogger doesn’t seem to offer it or I can’t find it. Any advice would be appreciated!
